POWERGRID, a Navratna PSU, is one of the largest transmission utilities in the world with a pan India presence. The organization is the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country and wheels about 45% of the power generated in India . We are engaged in the construction, operation & maintenance of Inter-State Transmission System and operation of National and Regional Power Grids.

POWERGRID has also diversified into Telecom business and established an optic fiber cable telecom network of more than 20,000 kms which connects over 100 Indian cities. POWERGRID has also emerged as a renowned Consultant in power sector in a short span of time with National and International clients.

Essential Qualification	Graduate with PG degree or diploma in Mass Communication/PR/Journalism with 60% marks (Full time course)
Experience	Should have a post qualification executive experience of 1 year at least in the following pay scales or equivalent level: IDA : Rs.6550 – 11350 (pre revised) / Rs. 12600 – 32500 (Revised) CDA : Rs.6500 – 10500(pre revised) / Rs. 9300 – 34800 ( Grade Pay Rs. 4200) (Revised)
Experience Profile	Must have proven flair for writing, editing and producing journals, penchant for photography, ability to organize exhibitions in national and international trade fairs. Professional capability to design, develop state of art internal and external communication packages. Expected awareness of development of infrastructural sector and long range ramifications thereof on company, customer entity and public at large. Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Power Sector will be preferred.
