Rubber COMPOUNDING India

Trident Rubber is a closely held family venture of brothers Kurian, Sebastian and Xavier who hail from the picturesque southern Indian state of Kerala, which produces 90% of India’s natural rubber.

Compounding is the company’s forte. With almost a decade-long experience of feeding ready-to-extrude rubber compound strips "just-in-time" (JIT) to the highly demanding automotive industry, the directors believe that custom compounding in India is an idea whose time has come.

The lion’s share of Trident’s compounding activity is taken up by compounds for all types of automobile profiles, flocked channels, door and boot seals, and radiator hoses made of EPDM. Fuel hoses of NBR and or NBR/PVC blend, and air-brake hoses are another major segment. Specialty compounds of ECO, CSM, CR, and AEM form the rest of Trident’s compounding.

In masterbatches (mostly for overseas customers) Trident’s major activity is in Natural Rubber, SBR , NBR and EPDM .

Trident has four mixers with capacities ranging from 40 Kgs to 100 Kgs per batch, and matching mixing mills and stock blenders, with one set dedicated for grey compounds.

With a floor area of 15000 sq ft, and a work force of over 50, Trident has the capacity to manufacture 500 Metric Tons of rubber compounds/masterbatches per month.

The two-pronged mission of the company is to pioneer custom-compounding of rubbers as a stand-alone activity of significance in India, and to make available to its overseas customers the benefits of the economies of Indian manufacture.

The quality of our products, our quality reports, packing and presentation and promptness of delivery have endeared us to our customers at home and abroad. Our endeavour now is to make available to them the economies of a far bigger scale of operations .

The Trident motto as personified by the Directors’ own lives is “Do unto others, what you would have them do unto you”
