Abstract:The Broward County Environmental Operating Division (EOD) is making a transition from standard paper Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals to Computerized O&M Manuals (COMM). The system is a web-based solution for Plant O&M manuals, drawings, vendor manuals, standard operating procedures, etc. It allows multiple users to access documents concurrently through the Internet, or an Intranet, using a standard web browser and viewers, such as Adobe Acrobat® Reader We chose to pilot a unique concept at one of our water plants. What is unique about this project is how we integrated our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Supervisor Control and Dada Acquisition (SCADA) system with the "Doc Maestro" O&M Manual system.
