Job Posting - Quality Assurance Manager

Large St. Louis Promotional Marketing and Fulfillment Company is seeking a qualified, energetic and dedicated person to join our dynamic team. We provide our customers with sophisticated solutions for implementing and fulfilling strategic marketing programs. Our services include program management, kitting and assembly, inventory management, order fulfillment, database management and direct mail services. We pride ourselves on exemplary service and are dedicated to constructing quality processes to insure our client’s programs are implemented flawlessly.

In an effort to continue improving both our processes and our tracking mechanisms , we are looking for someone to lead our Quality Assurance Program, including our efforts to obtain ISO 9001:2008 certification.

Essential Functions:

· Complete evaluation of current processes and procedures along with a gap analysis related to ISO certification efforts..

· Research and develop formal ISO and QA implementation plan.

· Oversee, track and report ISO certification activities against target plan.

· Develop formal training plan to communicate and administer ISO training.

· Serve as company’s primary interface with selected ISO certifying body.

· Facilitate new quality process techniques and continuous improvement programs designed to maintain the highest level of quality standards throughout our business processes.

· Review, track and analyze quality control data.

· Establish best record keeping practices.

· Manage all aspects of the Quality Assurance program and insure continuous compliancy throughout the company.

Required Skills:

· Minimum 2 years college or technical training and 3+ years relevant work experience. College degree and 5+ years relevant experience highly desired.

· A minimum 2 years leadership experience in implementation and administration of ISO, TQM or Six Sigma programs.

· Preferred experience in quality control in a production / labor intensive environment.

· Analytical with strong math and statistical skills.

· Strong communication, planning, organization and project management skills.

· Excellent computer skills, including Excel and Word.

· Proven leader, team builder, mentor and coach. Creative and innovative approach to problem and conflict resolution.

· Demonstrated ability to implement new quality process techniques and continuous improvement programs.
